Change/Incident Management Lead - Banking - Hong Kong

Our client is a bulge bracket global bank, they are now looking for a high-calibre Change/Incident Management Lead to join and manage their fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for effective implementation of the Incident management process for the retail banking business.
  • You need to determine if an incident / a change request needs to be escalated according to priority, severity, and impact
  • You will perform Incident communication to impacted parties and report promptly to management regarding critical issue until resolution
  • You will liaise with HK Regulator for all regulator-reportable incidents including regulatory report write up
  • You will participate in Incident, Problem, and Change management meetings as the representative of Hong Kong
  • You will partner with Release Management teams and local business users
  • You need to work on some weekends if there are major incidents/technology change release occurring during weekends
  • You will supervise a team including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, staffing and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of change/incident management experience in banking environment
  • Proficient in MS Office with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Team leadership experience
  • Solid experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advantage: ITIL certification, knowledge of retail banking products and regulation, fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin
