Business Planning Controller

The Company

Our client is a world leading luxury retail group. They are hiring a Business Planning Controller. This role will handles financial planning and analysis for one fashion brand in HK & Macau market. Besides, it also provides regional exposure by assisting with the APAC market consolidation. It will report to the Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing, budget forecast for local market
• Assure internal control are align with all corporate governance requirements, with the support of the internal control manager
• Coordinate with different department to understand and alert on potential risk on cost
• Handle Capex and project (such as launch new store, close shops etc)
• Execute retail lease and service agreements under HKFRS 16
• Ad hoc projects required

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance / Accounting or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience; open to auditing candidate and retail industry would be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English; Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking would be a plus
• Proactive, independent and result driven
• Logical and with excellent analytical skills
• With passion in fashion and luxury retail
