Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Overview

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver insightful dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Design and optimize data models, including DAX calculations and measures.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, cloud platforms).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization.
• Maintain and enhance existing BI solutions.
• Support data governance and best practices for reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or advanced Power BI features (e.g., incremental refresh, row-level security).
• Experience in Agile environments.
