Business Development Manager - Edutech Startup

Our client is a technology startup at pre-launch stage that provides software and a mobile app for educational providers. With a beta around the corner, they are currently seeking a Business Development Manager as their first employee in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Founder, you will play an important role in their business launch and growth. You will be designing and executing the business development and marketing strategy in Hong Kong and promote this product to sign and onboard new clients. As Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will also include:

• Managing and running the day to day operations of the business
• Designing the overall business development strategy for company's expansion
• Building relationships with potential clients and onboarding them
• Developing sales kits and work with marketing agencies to strengthen brand image and maximize user rate
• Work with product developers and external parties on overall client support

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of business development experience
• A sales hunter personality with strong commercial business sense
• A strategic mindset and willingness to take ownership of the business through its growth stages
• An ability to create a development roadmap for the business
• Edutech, tech or start up experience advantageous
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
