Business Analyst/ Test Lead

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Test Lead to support a major insurance core system modernization initiative. This role will focus on managing end-to-end testing activities across multiple business functions, working closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology vendors to ensure successful system delivery and business readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple business units, including New Business, Policy Administration, Customer Service, and other insurance operations functions
• Manage testing plans, execution progress, defect tracking, and overall testing quality
• Review and understand test cases to effectively guide and support testing teams
• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology vendors throughout the testing lifecycle
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to project stakeholders
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, and business readiness activities
• Ensure business requirements and system functionalities are appropriately validated through testing
• Support system implementation and go-live preparation activities
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement where applicable
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Business Analyst, Test Lead, or related project delivery experience
• Insurance background experience with domain knowledge, particularly in Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Customer Service, or Insurance Operations
• Proven experience leading or coordinating testing activities for large-scale system implementation or transformation projects
• Solid understanding of test planning, test execution, defect management, and UAT processes
• Ability to review and understand business requirements and test scenarios to effectively manage testing teams
• Experience working with technology vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills
• Experience supporting core system transformation, modernization, or policy administration system projects is highly preferred
• Ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively
• Fluent Cantonese is required; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
• Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred
