Business Analyst - Card & Settlement operations

We are supporting a banking client to hire a Business Analyst - Card Operations & Settlement to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with early experience in banking operations to gain exposure to system enhancements and project work within the card payments domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily card operations and settlement activities, including reconciliation, transaction monitoring, and exception handling
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives across card products and settlement workflows
  • Work closely with business users and IT teams to gather and document requirements
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation of test cases and documentation
  • Prepare operational reports, workflow documentation, and analysis materials
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely settlement processing
  • Identify and escalate system or operational issues with recommendations

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in banking operations or business analysis
  • Exposure to card operations, payments, or settlement processes preferred
  • Understanding of clearing & settlement lifecycle is an advantage
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Experience in UAT, reporting, or documentation is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to learn
