AVP/VP, Corporate Communications, Investment Banking

Our client is a well-established financial services group with a diverse business portfolio in securities, investment banking, asset management and wealth management. With their continuous expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Communications professional to join their Hong Kong business.

Reporting directly to Department Head, you will focus on formulating corporate communications and media relations strategies, develop effective communications programs and media plans, working closely with the team on creating quality writing materials for internal and external communications purposes, including but not limited to press releases, newsletters, award application, presentation speeches, media interviews etc. Leading a small team, you will also oversee the Group's branding efforts, CSR programs, crisis management, event and social media channel monitoring and maintenance etc, working with various external vendors and agencies. In addition, you will contribute to ensuring all publications are aligned with company brand image and corporate guidelines.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Degree in related discipline
• Minimum 6 year's experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, and/or Corporate Communications
• Experience gained from Investment Banking, Wealth Management, and / or Private Banking is highly preferred; candidates from other financial services firms would also be considered
• Team management experience preferred but not a must
• Solid writing and senior stakeholder management skills
• Proactive individual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent command of both Chinese and English
• Candidates with less experience would be considered for a lower grade
