Asst Director/ Sr Manager, Treasury (Stationed in Macau)

We are partnering with a highly prestigious, diversified heritage conglomerate to hire a Associate Director/Senior Manager, Group Treasury (Macua). Stationed at the global headquarters in Macau, this organization offers a unique, high-visibility mandate partnering directly with the Group CFO to drive corporate treasury operations and cross-border commercial expansion across the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the group's corporate cash flow, preparing regular cash flow statements using direct and indirect methods to forecast short-to-mid-term liquidity.
  • Serve as the primary commercial liaison for all daily banking operations, including corporate loans, credit facilities, L/C, and foreign exchange hedging.
  • Negotiate proactively with financial institutions regarding credit terms, interest rates, and banking fee structures.
  • Review, amend, and draft general commercial agreements (e.g., procurement and NDAs) to protect the group's financial and legal interests.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel on complex contract negotiations, litigation support, and corporate advisory matters.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal financial procedures and regulatory compliance across multiple corporate entities.
  • Assist in comprehensive annual budget preparation, variance analysis, and evaluating the commercial viability of new projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Governance, or a related discipline; professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to cash flow management and active banking liaison.
  • Strong baseline commercial legal awareness, with the demonstrated ability to identify imbalanced liabilities in vendor and client contracts.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of partnering confidently with top management and external advisors.
  • Full professional fluency in spoken and written Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
  • Must be stationed in Macau, with a proactive, dynamic mindset and a willingness to travel and operate within Mainland China (approx. 50% flexibility) as business dictates.
