Associate Consultant

The Opportunity

Are you curious, ambitious, and ready to build a career where no two days are the same? As an Associate Consultant, you'll join Ambition at entry level and be trained, mentored, and supported by leaders and high‑performing consultants to become a 360‑degree recruitment consultant.

From day one, you'll learn the full recruitment lifecycle - building relationships, sourcing talent, and closing deals - with the goal of running recruitment processes from start to finish by the end of your probation. If you enjoy sales, people, problem‑solving, and celebrating wins (big and small), this role is for you.

What Success Looks Like

Your growth and progression will be measured by:

1. Meeting or exceeding billing and activity targets

What You'll Be Doing

Candidate Focus

• Write engaging and effective job adverts
• Source, screen, and interview candidates to build strong talent pools
• Re‑engage and manage previously registered candidates
• Coordinate interviews and prepare candidates for success
• Provide CV advice, market insights, and career guidance
• Support salary negotiations and start‑date discussions

Client Focus

• Build and grow relationships with new and existing clients
• Take detailed job briefs virtually or face‑to‑face
• Present high‑quality candidate shortlists aligned to client needs
• Conduct post‑placement check‑ins to ensure long‑term success
• Build prospect and distribution lists
• Develop market knowledge and work towards becoming a market expert within your area of specialisation

Team and Culture Contribution

• Act as a positive ambassador for the Ambition brand
• Celebrate individual, team, and company achievements
• Keep database records accurate, current, and compliant
• Take pride in everything you do
• Play an active role in making Ambition a great place to work

What we're looking for

• Degree or above in any disciplines
• Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deal with external clients professionally
• Self motivated and result driven, with a positive mindset in wanting to succeed
• Able to think outside the box for creative solutions and challenge the status quo
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
