Assistant Store Manager - Retail

About the Role:

• Work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, motivate staff, and help achieve sales targets and KPI goals
• Make sure all company rules, day-to-day processes, and management instructions are followed properly
• Oversee daily store operations, keeping the sales floor and back-of-house/stockroom neat, organized, and efficient
• Deliver great customer service, and handle customer questions, requests, and complaints professionally
• Review store results, share useful insights with management, and support effective supervision of the team
• Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising and store appearance to ensure a consistent brand image
• Support team and people initiatives, including planning staffing needs, recruiting, training, coaching, and staff development
• Manage inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and reduce stock differences and shrinkage
• Prepare and analyze sales and operational reports, and suggest actions to improve performance and operational quality

About the Candidate:

• At least 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in fashion or lifestyle retail
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven record of driving sales
• Good business sense, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
• Able to communicate in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience using retail systems is a bonus
